A LITTLE ABOUT THE CANDIDATES,

Jerry Brown's Biography:
Jerry Brown attended school at Yale University of Law. Brown has been very involved with Politics while at the time even exposing a Lie from a U.S president. All his life Brown has strongly supported his religious beliefs, his personal Philosophies have even been effected by his religion. Almost every thing he has done has revolved around the Bible, and his religion, especially his schooling.

WHERE DOES BROWN STAND?

Most of Jerry Brown's Views are very democratic in a lot of ways, which make sense because he is a Democratic Candidate.

Education: Brown doesn't believe that giving more tax money to schools will make so much of a difference.
Environment: this would be a democratic stand point, he wants a say in what happens with are natural resources and make sure that we don't over use them to the point in which we don't have them any more.
Economy: This guy thinks that providing tax money will help the schools, but it won't help the damaged economic system.
Civil Rights: Democrats want equal rights for every one, and that is what Jerry Brown wishes to achieve in his election, as long as it goes with the constitution.

Meg Whitman, Biography:

Meg Whitman cares for California wanting to make major changes. Before she stepped into the world of politics Meg Whitman attended collage at Princeton University, but not long after graduation she returned to California. Whitman later became an entrepreneur, and becoming very successful with her positions in various companies. Wishing to use these skills acquired to help improve California's Economy, Whitman decided to run as a republican candidate for the elections of California state governor.

WHERE DOES WHITMAN STAND?

Most of Whitman's views are republican, but their are a couple that are democratic which I find interesting because she is the Republican candidate for the governor race.

Education and where to send the funds: This issue has been the focus of both the Democratic and the Republican parties. At the moment only 60% worth of funding goes to the states School Districts. Rather than the money going to the district, Whitman wants the money to go to the schools them selves.
What about the Economy?: in order to help the economy, Meg Whitman wants to cut taxes which is really odd because that is more of a Democratic focus rather than republican.
Save the Walrus!(inside Joke) and the Environment: Whitman is very concerned about the environment much like most republicans who also wish to protect it.
Issues involving the Boarder: This issue has been one of the main focuses of the rebublican party more than the democratic party. She like most republicans, really wants to secure the boarder in order to prevent illegals from gaining entry into the United States.

THE "STATE" OF THINGS

Almost half of the American voters listed are those crazy democrats.

Currently california has made a close to 50% improvement in economy.

Whitman is ahead of Brown by just 3% in the poles.

THE LATEST NEWS

http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Election-2010/Governors/2010/1028/How-Meg-Whitman-dropped-10-points-behind-Jerry-Brown

Meg Whitman hasn't been doing so hot lately. It has become fact that she did have an illegal immigrant under her employ despite the fact that one of her stand points was not allowing illegal immigrants to have jobs in America. Because of this her voting percentage has gone down and it looks like she might lose this election. Along with Brown she appeared on an episode of the Today Show and was given the opportunity to clean up their race and stop the negative campaigns, she declined.

Jerry Brown defeated Meg Whitman! Despite Meg Whitman's housekeeper scandal I would have liked to see her win, but it looks like Jerry will become the new Governator of california with just a 12% lead in the votes. If she mirrored what she "believed" in she would have most likely won this election hands down. But because Brown was true to his word he won instead.

WHAT I THINK

I believe that by the end of the election that is could be any ones game. Considering how close the race is currently, but that could change by the end of the election, so either candidate has the chance of winning.
